Hester Attwood is a freelance illustrator based in the United Kingdom. She specialises in pencil and watercolour illustrations and enjoys writing children's stories.

Hester was born in Sheffield, United Kingdom in 1966. She studied fine art at Birmingham City University, graduating with a BA (Hons) in 1987. More recently, she studied illustration for children's publishing at Glyndwr University in Wrexham.
